Amblyopia
Also known as “Lazy Eye”
Amblyopia (sometimes referred to as “lazy eye”) is a condition occurring when the eye does not develop proper connections with the brain and reduces the vision in that eye. Mostly occurring in childhood, the decrease in vision develops during the first decade of life.
There are many causes such as difference between the prescription of each eye, turning in or out of the eyes, cataract, scar, or lesion.
